The Bay View Inn: - The Inn has a superb and unrivalled outlook across Bude Bay. From the Inn you can see from Trevose Head lighthouse, in the South, to Hartland Point, in the North and as far as Lundy Island. As we face due West, we benefit from all year round sunsets. Of course we cannot guarantee the weather but it is said that we glory in the lowest rainfall in the UK. (although where they get their information from sometimes makes me wonder!)

To keep the kid's happy, we have a children's play area to the side of the Inn which is enclosed for safety and within view of the terrace and family room. It has tyre swings, rope ladder, a slide, a playhouse, a seesaw and sandpit.

The Breakfast / Dining Room

Our new "Atlantic Room" extension runs the whole width across the front of the building giving superb sea views for 30 extra patrons. With kids games on hand to keep the kids entertained.

The cosy bar, Non smoking dining room and Beer garden face the Atlantic Ocean so that visitors can enjoy the superb views of the Sea and the new wild bird lake opposite, and our extensive range of meals and snacks at the same time. There is ample car parking at the side of the Inn, well off the road, and on our premises. This is ideal for those who wish only to walk across the road to the beach.

 We are the only pub in the area to serve Real Ales straight from the cask and are proud to be one of only three pubs in the Bude area to have been chosen to be included in the national "C.A.M.R.A." guide for the last 4 years, offering UP TO 8 of the finest award winning, "Real ales" from local independents Bill SHARP and Steve SKINNER'S* micro-breweries along with other national brands constantly changing. We also offer Worthington's Classic Bitter Caffrey's, Carling, Stella & Grolsch, Guinness and 3 ciders. (Including a traditional cask conditioned in season) * We have our own brew from "Skinners" called "Kitch's Klassic" (named after ME) ABV 3.4% which we "DRY HOP" and condition here at the Bay View. Very popular!! In the bar we have a full size Pool table, Darts, Shove ha'penny, cards plus numerous games to keep the kids entertained.

 Also we have our Computer located here so you can surf the net and collect your e-mails with a pint. (when the bar is open, £2 an hour)

Overlooking the sea and extensive beach our family run "FREE HOUSE" Inn offers comfortable, well-equipped, bed and breakfast accommodation throughout the year.
